Who we are
This policy explains what information Pulsida and pulsida.com handle, and why. Launchific LLC (“we”) makes Pulsida and is responsible for this policy.
The short version
Pulsida has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. We never sell personal data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
On your Mac
Your settings stay on your Mac. Pulsida doesn’t collect your files, what you type or how you use your Mac.
License checks
When you activate Pulsida, and about once a day after that, Pulsida checks your license with Polar, which issues and manages Pulsida’s license keys. These checks include your license key and your Mac’s name, so you can recognise your Macs in the customer portal.
Update checks
Once a day, Pulsida checks pulsida.com for a new version. The check doesn’t include any information about you or your Mac beyond what any web request does. You can turn it off in Pulsida’s settings.
Cat mode
Cat mode needs Accessibility permission in macOS. Pulsida uses it only to ignore input while Cat mode is on. Keys, clicks and scrolling are dropped, never read or stored.
Buying Pulsida
Purchases are handled by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar processes your name, email address, billing details and payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
This website
This website doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores one cookie to remember the language you choose. Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic request data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your message and email address to reply, and keep the conversation for as long as we need it to help you.
Who processes data for us
Polar, for payments, receipts and licenses, and our website host, to serve this website. Each works under its own privacy commitments and only for these purposes.
How long we keep data
Polar keeps purchase and license records for as long as your license exists and as long as tax law requires. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you. Pulsida itself stores nothing about you on our servers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and California, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to how it’s used. Write to us and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. For payment data, you can also contact Polar directly. We don’t sell personal data, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Pulsida isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
International transfers
We’re based in the United States. Polar and our website host may process data in other countries, with the safeguards the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We’ll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll make that clear here before it takes effect.
